Hello friends! We hope everyone is enjoying their summer, and keeping as cool as possible! We have some fun events coming up around the Bay Area, and are expanding our reach across the Pacific!
Thanks to all who made it out to our East Bay IPA Release Party this past Saturday! We had a great time, and hope you did too! A big thank you to Slow Hand BBQ for keeping us fed and happy, and also to the amazing musicians who kept our feet moving – The High Cotton Band, Ben Benkert, and brand new duo Waiting On! Our Artist Market was also a great success, and we look forward to the next one on Saturday, August 3rd!
This week our brewmaster and co-founder Morgan Cox is making the rounds in the Portland area. Monday night, July 8th, he hit up N.W.I.P.A. for a Meet the Brewer night from 6-8pm. They featured our East Bay IPA, the Uncle Jesse West Coast Session Ale, Golden State of Mind, and the newest sour out of our Barrels & Uniquities program, the East Bayliner Weisse! Also this coming Wednesday, July 10th, Morgan will be at Apex. Once again, Morgan will be representing the East Bay and hanging around to meet new friends and fans. Don’t miss this one, Apex is a fantastic beer bar in the PDX area that features 50 craft beer taps and a killer patio, perfect for sippin’ on an Ale Industries East Bayliner Weisse!
Incredibly, our reach just expanded across the Pacific Ocean last week! We sent our first shipment overseas to Tokyo, Japan! We shipped off 1 cool ton of AI beer – Forty 5-gallon kegs of Golden State of Mind, Uncle Jesse and Rye’d Piper. We are beyond ecstatic about this, and can’t wait to hear how the residents of Tokyo and beyond take to our beloved California Craft beer! Stay tuned for more updates.
Thanks to all of you out there who helped us get into Bay Area BevMo’s by letting them know you were looking for Ale Industries! Our 22oz bottles of Golden State of Mind and Rye’d Piper are now available at various Bay Area BevMo locations! We will be out visiting and pouring samples for your tasting pleasure at a few spots over the next few Friday afternoons. This Friday, July 12th, look for Steve’s smiling face at the Pleasanton BevMo from 4-7pm. Our Tap Room Manager Maureen will be out the following two Fridays – July 19th at Orinda BevMo, and July 26th at the Walnut Creek BevMo. Hope to see you there!
This coming Saturday, July 13th we will be all over the place pouring up a storm. For you city folk, find us at the Annual Breastfest Beer Festival at Fort Mason in San Francisco. This festival is always a great time, and raises money and awareness for the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic (CMCC), a state licensed non-profit clinic offering alternative medical treatments for low-income women diagnosed with cancer. The festival is from 2-6pm. Advance tickets are $50, and $60 at the door. For those of you further inland, come enjoy the delta sunshine with our co-founder and head of Sales & Distribution, Stephen Lopas and Tap Room Beertender Extraordinaire Tim Walton at the Suisun City Waterfront Firkin Beer and Chili Fest! The fest runs from 1pm to 5pm, and all attendees receive a souvenir glass and unlimited pours with unlimited fun! Taste all the competitors Chili and vote for the First Annual Firkin Chili Fest contest winner!
On Tuesday, July 23rd, find Steve out in Oakland’s Jack London Square at Forge for a beer pairing dinner featuring Ale Industries fine craft beer. We think our beer pairs perfectly with Forge’s delicious wood-fired pizzas, and we can’t complain about the waterfront patio seating either…
That’s all for now – until next time, Cheers! (And don’t forget to ask ‘em for an Ale Industries!)
